FAQ

What are Soul Storms in Minecraft Dungeons II?
Timed endgame events — about once an hour a random region gets stormed for roughly 40 minutes. Fight to the Soul Generators, break all three tiers, and take endgame-quality loot.
How do you beat a Soul Storm?
Enter the stormed region during its ~40-minute window, survive the empowered waves, and destroy the Soul Generators in order — each tier raises the reward.

What are Soul Storms?

Soul Storms are Minecraft Dungeons II’s endgame event system. Per developer interviews, roughly once an hour a random region is invaded — the storm lasts about 40 minutes — and inside it you’ll find Soul Generators in three tiers, each a harder fight paying better gear.

How do they work?

  1. A storm lands on a random region — watch the map for the marker.
  2. Enter during the window. Miss the ~40 minutes and the storm moves on.
  3. Fight to the Soul Generators. Three tiers of generator encounters; each tier cleared pushes the reward higher — this is where the game’s best drops live.
  4. Repeat next hour. Storms rotate regions, so endgame farming is a tour of the whole map.

How should you prepare?

  • Endgame builds only. Storm zones assume enchanted gear — hit the Enchantsmith and Blacksmith first.
  • Bring AoE. Storm waves swarm; area artifacts and cleaving weapons keep control.
  • Group up. Co-op handles generator tiers far faster — the content was built with parties in mind.
  • Know the region. Each storm uses the host region’s terrain — the region list tells you what layout to expect.

What do they reward?

Generator tiers are the top of the loot curve — the route to endgame-quality gear before the DLC lands. Track the current storm region, then check back here as we map per-tier drop behavior.
