What is the Copper Monstrosity?

The Copper Monstrosity is the boss Mojang showed in the gamescom 2026 demo — a massive oxidized-copper golem that announces itself with an on-screen “BOSS FIGHT!” banner. File data puts it at roughly 2,400 HP, the heavyweight tier shared with the Sculk and Redstone Monstrosities.

What are its attacks?

Two signatures, both about controlling space:

• Zone-denial lightning — it paints circular AoE zones across the arena (the gold warning rings in demo footage); standing in one is how most deaths happen.
• Arena-wide charge — a telegraphed rush that crosses the whole fight space. Roll through it, not away.

The fight, step by step

1. Keep moving between zones. The lightning coverage shrinks safe ground — reposition constantly rather than planting to attack.
2. Dodge the charge. It’s the highest-damage move; i-frames from the roll are your answer.
3. Punish the recovery. The stall after a charge is the damage window — burn artifact cooldowns there.
4. Clear adds fast. Smaller enemies during the zone phases will corner you if ignored.
